Choose InboxClock if

  • You want evergreen timers for automations, or recurring timers for daily cutoffs.
  • You want your own brand font instead of six standard ones.
  • You want live counters and the same timer on your website.
  • You want stats on views, clicks and email apps.

Choose MotionMail if

  • You email readers in many languages and want labels translated for each reader automatically.
  • You only need a basic fixed-date timer and like a very short setup.

Switching from MotionMail

Nothing breaks when you switch. Timers are separate images, so emails you already sent keep their MotionMail timers.

  1. Make the same timer in InboxClock. The simple templates fit most emails, and you can upload your brand font.

  2. In your next campaign, replace the MotionMail image code with the InboxClock code from the Embed tab.

  3. Send yourself a test. Keep your old timers running in emails you already sent; they are not affected.

Questions

Does InboxClock translate timers for each reader?

No. You choose the labels per timer, in one of 8 languages or your own words. Email apps fetch images through proxies, so the reader’s language is not reliable to detect anyway.

Can I edit a timer after sending, like in MotionMail?

Yes. Change anything, and every email shows the new version on its next open.

MotionMail figures are list prices and documented features from motionmailapp.com, checked 28 October 2026. Prices are per month, before tax, for the cheapest option without their branding. InboxClock is free during the beta; paid plans are not set yet.
