Countdown timers for webinars and events

Invitations and reminders work better when the start time is impossible to misread. A live timer shows exactly how long is left, wherever the reader is.

How to set it up

About two minutes in the editor.

  1. Choose Fixed date and the start time in the host’s timezone. Readers in other timezones see the correct time left automatically.

  2. Write an expired message such as “We are live now. Join the session”.

  3. Point the link after it ends at the live room or the recording.

Tips

Get more from it

  • Use the same timer in the invite, the day-before reminder and the one-hour reminder.
  • For registration deadlines, make a second timer that ends when sign-ups close.

Questions

Do readers need to convert timezones?

No. The timer counts down to one instant, so each reader sees the right time left without any conversion.
