Use cases/Seats and stock counters

A live number for every email

“Only 12 seats left” is only true for a moment. A live counter shows the real number each time the email opens, and updates by itself from your shop or booking system.

Setup

How to set it up

About two minutes in the editor.

  1. Select New timer, then choose Live counter at the top of the editor.

  2. Enter the number and the text, for example 12 and seats left.

  3. Optional: add a Goal to show a progress bar, for example $7,300 of $10,000 raised.

  4. Save and paste the code into your email, like a timer.

  5. Change the number in the editor, or let your shop update it through the API after every sale.

Tips

Get more from it

  • A counter is one still image, so it also shows correctly in Outlook for Windows.
  • Pair it with a countdown: “12 seats left” and “Booking closes in 2 days” together.
  • Use {"increment": -1} from a webhook so every booking lowers the number.

Questions

How does the number update?

Change it in the editor and save, or send it from your system with the API. Every email shows the latest number on its next open.

Can it show a progress bar?

Yes. Add a goal, and the counter shows a bar and a percentage, for example for fundraising.

Your next email has a deadline. Show it.
